A festival for the community, run by the community

Our Volunteer led festival is organised by Redbrook Village Trust
Charity no. 1114002 Registered 03 May 2006
Our motto ”Making Redbrook an even greater place to live and visit’ says it all really.
The Trust exists to promote and enable local facilities for the benefit and wellbeing of our villagers and visitors alike.
The Trust set up Redbrook Play area more than 15 years ago and Live on the Wye was set up to raise funds to manage that area with the help of committed local volunteers. We still fund the playground and maintenance of green spaces around the village but have expanded to support projects including heritage interpretation, much needed improvements to the church facade and create new visitor amenities such as the toilets and kitchen area at the church.
We provide grant support to village groups and the school and are currently developing a heritage trail and a new village website for 2025 and looking to provide grant aid for new projects that fund infrastructure and amenities that our community needs. Get in touch with our Trustees if you have an idea you’d like to run past us💡

The Trust comprises a small management team of committed volunteers who bring different skills and experiences for the benefit of the village.
Live on the Wye is our main fundraising event and brings together around 100 members of the vibrant local community that bridges two countries through music and good old-fashioned Welsh Hwyl alongside the Spirit of Life on the Wye.
We’re always on the look out for new sponsors that can help us keep more of our surplus from running the festival so that we can plough it back into the community.
Thanks again to all our sponsors and supporters past and present.
Look forward to seeing you all at Live on the Wye 2025 and beyond!
